I hear a...mooooo....mooooo....and yet another mooooo!
The cows are home! Separation from their calves is causing a whole lot of mooing going on. As I walked among them this evening, I had one friendly old black want a nice scratch behind the ears. The others were not as sure as she was. They followed me around, but didn't want to get too close. It is pretty exciting to have the yard filled with life. Soon the mooing will subside and we will have happy alfalfa chewing, silage eating bovines lounging around. Until then....MOO!
