Well, I believe this winter has surpassed the previous years with the storms and snowfall which has graced our area so far. I just let the pup outside for bladder relief and don't think she appreciated Old Man Winter to say the least. There is a 3 foot drift in front of the door. We opened up the other door which gives us a pretty good view of the yard and anywhere the snow could find a place to stick, the drifts are massive. The rest of the yard is ice shining in the bright of the yard light. The hubby is going to have a major snow blowing fiasco after it stops! His favorite job in the whole wide world...NOT!
We are supposed to have a slight let up tomorrow morning before the "heavy snow" arrives. That is kind of scary considering how much snow we have with the current system which has shut down the Interstate from Moorhead to Alexandria and has the Otter Tail County Sheriff demanding no travel within in the county. I will try to snap a few photos in the daylight hours in between or after the blast is over. I am very thankful for our awesome Christmas gifts of snowshoes which may be needed by all Otter Tail County residents after this swirling white stuff settles.
Until then, I am content to stay indoors with the girls and their new treasures from Christmas and hopefully catch a movie with the hubby. I'm off to snuggle! Hope you do the same!
